Senior React Native developer with the ACME General team will work closely with company leadership and clients to:

  • Build front-end applications with Typescript, React Native, React Native Web, and GraphQL
  • Contribute to the architecture and development of client and/or server applications, for external engagements and internal software projects

Professional Experience/Qualifications/Competencies/Traits

A successful candidate for a senior React Native developer position with the ACME General team will possess most, if not all, of the following attributes:

  • Experience with Typescript, React Native, React Native Web, and/or GraphQL to support front-end development
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in software engineering or software development
  • Technology industry background with preference for experience in outsourced development and/or defense contracting
  • Highly self-directed and motivated to take initiative
  • Comfortable with ambiguity at the start, effective at driving towards certainty
  • Understanding of the tenets of protecting client data as well as different techniques for authenticating and authorizing clients/consumers of service data
  • Experience with GIT based source control solutions (e.g. Github, Gitlab), understand concepts such as rebasing, squashing, cherry-picking, and tagging
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to anticipate client and management needs and to ask well-crafted questions that generate meaningful insights
  • Unwavering commitment to the highest standards of honesty and ethical behavior and a willingness to prioritize the needs of the client and team over the self when necessary
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work autonomously in the absence of constant oversight and direction
  • 4+ years relevant work experience preferred
  • Ability to hold a United States government security clearance

  • Some DevOps work, including experience with CI/CD tools
